I have been taking Calorad off an on for the past 12 years. It is the only dietary supplement that I found to work effectively every time I want to lose weight. As I get older, I'm starting to get more pain in my joints (occupational hazard). I recently started taking Calorad a few weeks ago, and did measurements each week. The first two weeks, I lost weight each week, however, the third week, I didn't lose weight but gained back 1.5lbs. Don't let that discourage you, as it does not discourage me at all, as each week, I have been losing inches everywhere. I do my measurements and weigh in on Saturdays, so as of last Saturday (4/18/2009) I have lost a total of 3 lbs and 8 inches, 2 of those inches were in that last week where I gained back 1.5 lbs. That means I'm losing fat, not water weight. I have a pair of jeans I was not able to fit into at all this winter, but I'm starting to be able to squeeze into them now. And I have not changed my diet or started exercising yet. I'm working towards eating healthier and exercising, and the healthier I am starting to feel taking Calorad, I'm sure I will start eating healthier and exercising. There are absolutely no stimulants in Calorad, so it is not tricking your body into thinking it has energy. The energy I feel is from a good night's sleep, as I have been sleeping much better since taking Calorad. I'm also experiencing less pain in my joints, and that is also partly due to adding HeartShot to my regimen of dietary supplements. The pain in my joints has decreased by 50% so far, and I've only been taking HeartShot for a little over a week. The pain from carpal tunnel syndrome (from years of repetitive motion of doing nails) is decreasing since taking HeartShot, the pain was getting so bad that even working on one client would hurt my hands, but the other day, I noticed there wasn't any pain at all after one client. People always asked me that if Calorad worked so well for me and it is safe to continue taking for life, why did I stop? I honestly can't give you a good valid reason, but I will tell you that I will never stop taking it again. Nobody will be able to get me to stop taking HeartShot either. HeartShot contains Omega-3, CLA, and vitamins and minerals, and tastes great. HeartShot was developed by a Yale trained cardiac surgeon, who was one of the first cardiac surgeon to hold a beating heart in his hands. He found that of his 5000 cardiac surgeries, 75% of his patients had normal levels of cholesterol, and that it was inflammation that was responsible for heart attacks. After continuous research, he retired as a surgeon, and went on a quest to prevent heart disease through developing HeartShot and a 4 step program for getting heart healthy. Now that is my kind of doctor, one that wants to help people prevent disease, rather than fix the problem after it occurs. Each week, on this page, I will post my progress. I am also going to include a link to listen to recorded conference calls, including one from tonight 4/21/2009 where I was a guest speaker to share my HeartShot and Calorad success. I will post links to conference calls as well as the phone number plus ID if you would like to call in and listen to the calls live. Every Wednesday evening, there is an Ask the Doc call featuring the Yale trained cardiologist who developed HeartShot, if you would like to ask him any questions about HeartShot, Calorad, or heart health, you can send an e-mail with your questions to askthedoc@asantae.com.To find out how you can get started on CaloradAdvance and HeartShot visit www.asantae.com/spatreats2u
